Crowds of well-wishers have gathered in Cork Airport to welcome home Olympian winners Gary and Paul O'Donovan.
The brothers landed back in Ireland, just before 9.30pm, after a whirlwind few weeks during which the brothers won Ireland’s first ever Olympic rowing medal.
Paul and Gary from Skibbereen, Co Cork, claimed the silver medal in the men’s lightweight double sculls during the Rio Olympics.
And just yesterday, Paul won a gold medal in the Men's Single Lightweight Sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the O’Donovan brothers’ homecoming parade in Skibbereen tomorrow evening.
An open-top bus will take Gary and Paul and their coach Dominic Casey along the Cork Rd, into North St and then turning right onto Main St before arriving at the Fairfield.
